AIM:
Design and development of Zigbee based home automation.
PURPOSE:
Now a day’s home appliances become network control and it is very help to people. Local Area connection enabled home appliances are widely used in homes. There are other kinds of home automation types like IOT, GSM, Bluetooth ….etc. But there are expensive and mesh network not possible. In Zigbee based home automation the entire network is private and others can’t involve in to this.
DESCRIPTION:
This project includes zigbee module (HC12), which is connected to Arduino through UART interface. Three loads connected to Arduino digital pins which are light, fan and motor respectively through relays.
WORKING:
User can control loads through Zigbee. Here we used two zigbee pairs one is at PC/Laptop side and other at loads control side. PC side zigbee connected with serial port and user can give commands in serial software. Based on commands loads will be control. Loads status will display on serial port. All this information displaying on 16X2 LCD display.
