Zigbee Based Dc Motor Speed And Direction Control

DOWNLOAD ABSTRACT

AIM:

Design and Development of Zigbee based DC motor speed and direction control.

PURPOSE:

DC gear motors widely used in battery based applications. They consumes less power when compare with AC motors. Here we are proposing zigbee based DC motor speed and direction control using Arduino.

DESCRIPTION:

This project includes Zigbee module (HC12), which is connected to Arduino through UART interface. H-bridge IC (L293D) connected to Arduino digital pins. 5 Buttons connected to Arduino digital pins.

WORKING:

Here we can control DC motor speed and direction using Zigbee. It has two sections. One is transmitter which consists of Arduino, Zigbee and buttons. There are 5 buttons clock, anti-clock, speed increment, speed decrement and stop. On receiver side Arduino, DC motor and Zigbee which can take commands from transmitter and controls motors. Motor will rotate in clock and anti-clock direction with five different speeds. Speed will vary based on PWM technique. Speed and direction information will display on 16X2 LCD display.
