AIM:
Design and development of Smart traffic control with ambulance detection using Bluetooth and Arduino.
PURPOSE:
Day by day number of vehicles increased around the world. There are traffic signals across the road to organize vehicles passage to avoid traffic congestion. Apart from this traffic maintenance, we should clear traffic for ambulances. But there is no such kind of systems at traffic signals. Traffic lights operated by police when it needs. Here we proposed a system that can have normal four line traffic road with density based traffic control along with ambulance detection. Ambulance should have Bluetooth app in smart phone to give road priority to main system. Here project title is smart traffic control with ambulance detection.
DESCRIPTION:
Bluetooth module (HC-05) Connected to Arduino serial port and can communicate through mobile application. Red, Green, Orange color LEDs connected to Arduino digital pins. Four IR sensors connected to Arduino digital pins to detect Vehicles density.
WORKING:
In this project, there are four road junction traffic lights. Each road has red, green, orange leds to regulate traffic of vehicles. Each IR sensor detects density of vehicles in particular road. When high density will come then green led will be ON to that road. Also we can control traffic lights priority from Bluetooth app which is in ambulance.
