AIM:
Design and Development of RFID Door Lock Access using Arduino.
PURPOSE:
Automation of door access is expensive to install. In homes and offices it gives security from unauthorized entries. There are so many smart door access systems like biometric, wireless remote, touch less keypad etc…, Here we propose RFID door lock access using Arduino. Using RFID cards we can access door and we can install this system to our home easily.
DESCRIPTION:
RFID reader (EM-18) Interfaced to Arduino through UART interfaces. Servo motor interfaced to Arduino digital pin. Buzzer connected to Arduino digital pin.
WORKING:
Here we have authorized and unauthorized RFID cards. It has servo motor with door lock, unlock mechanism. When any authorized card access then door lock will be open through servo motor. After lock open door has to open manually. It waits 5 seconds to close lock. Before 5 seconds we have to close door manually then lock will be close. All this information displaying on 16X2 LCD display. For unauthorized card access lock will not open and buzzer sound will come.
