Mems Based Vehicle Inclination Monitoring System

AIM:

Design and Development of MEMS based vehicle inclination monitoring system.

PURPOSE:

A vehicle driving stability is depends on its inclination on roads.  While traveling on the road driver might not know about how much inclination vehicle was. Based on vehicle inclination he can perform accelerator pedal. On incline road if no sufficient acceleration then vehicle will be roll back. Technology gives solution for every problem. By integrating Arduino, MEMS and vehicle control system we can do this kind of system design. Here proposed project title is MEMS based vehicle inclination monitoring system using Arduino.

DESCRIPTION:

Arduino interfaced with MEMS sensor (ADXL335/345 – Accelerometer) through I2c port. L293d connected with Arduino digital pins. Bluetooth module (HC-05) connected to Arduino Serial port.

WORKING:

We can control Vehicle through Bluetooth android App. This App is customized to this project and it has buttons to control vehicle in all the directions. It will act as like driver. MEMS sensor (ADXL335/345 – Accelerometer) placed on the vehicle body and it can detect roll and pitch of the vehicle. Roll is inclination of vehicle in X-axis front and back. Pitch is inclination of vehicle in Y-axis left and right. By monitoring Roll and Pitch of the vehicle, driver can take immediate action to avoid harmful situation.
