AIM:

Design and Development of GSM based accident detection and rescue system.

PURPOSE:

Vehicle accidents increased day by day and rescue system is mandatory in that situation. Accident may occur based on various reasons. Like temperature raise in engine, fire occurred because of electrical wiring or rash driving. Reading of all these parameters and update to remote location and displaying at local display can prevent accident by taking precautionary action.  Here we want to implement same kind of system that can use for tis same. Here project title is GSM based accident detection and rescue system using Arduino.

DESCRIPTION:

 Arduino and GSM modem are connected to each other through serial port. Also Zigbee interfaced with Arduino serial port. LM35, Fire sensors connected to Arduino analog and digital pins respectively.  MEMS sensor connected to Arduino I2C port.

WORKING:

There are two sections in the project. One is transmitter which has sensors like lm35, fire and MEMS. LM35 can sense engine temperature, Fire sensor can detect fire and MEMS sensor can detect vehicle position. All these sensors data read by Arduino and send to receiver through Zigbee. Other side Arduino interfaced with Zigbee, GSM and LCD. When any sensor gets activated then data will be uploading to mobile number and displayed on LCD. Here we used wireless module from sensors to GSM modem, because while accident happens communication may disturb if all sensors connected through wire from transmitter to receiver.
