AIM:

Design and Development of Automatic Plant Irrigation System.

PURPOSE:

Monitoring field conditions is the foundation of modern agricultural management. In order to improve the efficiency of the data collection procedure, and to improve the precision with which agricultural operations are managed, it is necessary that we have an automated system that collects environmental data, especially to record long-term and up-to-the-minute environmental fluctuations. This system automatically reports environmental conditions in real-time. Based on soil moisture condition water pump will ON. Here project title is automatic plant irrigation using Arduino.

DESCRIPTION:

This project includes soil moisture sensor which is connected to Arduino digital pin. AC water pump controlled by relay which is connected to Arduino digital pin.

WORKING:

Using this project we can automat plant irrigation. Here soil moisture sensor placed at plant soil. If it detects soil moisture wet then AC water pump will OFF. If soil moisture sensor detects Dry condition then AC pump will ON. This information will display on 16X2 LCD display.
