Soldier Position Tracking Using Gsm And Gps

DOWNLOAD ABSTRACT

AIM:

Design and development of Soldier position tracking using GSM GPS.

PURPOSE:

Soldier tracking allows us to track and monitor solider position. This system contains GSM and GPS along with button. Soldiers’ works in different environment and places. They face extreme weather conditions. Sometimes military loses so many soldier because lack of tracking. Here we propose system like soldier position tracking using GSM and GPS.

DESCRIPTION:

This project includes GSM (Sim800C) module, which is connected to Arduino through UART. GPS module connected to Arduino through UART interface. Button connected to Arduino digital pin.

WORKING:

Arduino continuously reads button status. When soldier wants to know his location to military then he has to press button. Then SMS will be send to registered mobile number. SMS contains soldier location details along with google maps. If any time military wants to know particular soldier location then they can send request SMS to soldier. Then system automatically responds and sends location details in SMS. Also for every time stamp (like 1 min) it sends location details to military. In these three ways soldier tracking can monitor by military.
