AIM:
Design and development of GSM based baby incubator using Arduino.
PURPOSE:
Incubators are more important in medical field. Baby incubators are much more necessity while child birth. But advanced baby incubators not available in all hospitals. Adding wireless GSM, to baby incubator is very helpful. Doctors can monitor baby condition from anywhere. Here we proposal GSM based baby incubator using Arduino.
DESCRIPTION:
This projects consists GSM (sim800c) Module connected to Arduino through UART pins. DHT11 sensor connected to Arduino through digital IO. Temperature and humidity can be read from DHT11.On other side Fan and humidifier connected to Arduino through relays.
WORKING:
Arduino reads temperature and humidity of baby in incubator setup. Here rectangle shaped box nothing but incubator. When temperature increased than desired fan will ON automatically. When humidity decrease than desired level then humidified will ON. These sensors status displayed on 16X2 LCD continuously. Sensors data will send to doctor mobile number with in particular time stamp. If doctor sends request SMS to GSM modem then it sends sensors status in SMS. Any abnormal condition buzzer sound will come through buzzer. Doctors can see data in mobile from anywhere without any wired connection.
