AIM:

Design and Development of DTMF based password protection for doors and lockers.

PURPOSE:

Now a day digital codes locks are very secure and reliable. There are so many kinds of keypads available in market. Mostly we have seen static kind of keypads and we have to access them by touching. DTMF is built in feature in phone and we can use it as remote. This kind of remote can support more distance than any regular wireless remotes. Here we can access password through DTMF. Means we can give password from remote location mobile to DTMF system. Based on password we can access devices from anywhere. By taking all the advantages of DTMF we can implement DTMF based password protection for doors and lockers.

DESCRIPTION:

This project includes DTMF module (CM8870), which is connected to Arduino digital pins. Solenoid valve controlled by relay which is connected to Arduino digital pin.

WORKING:

Here mobile phone connected to DTMF module through audio cable. We can call from another mobile to connected mobile (mobile which connected to DTMF module). After call answering communication established between mobile and DTMF module. We can give password from mobile and for correct password solenoid valve will be open. This solenoid valve can control lockers and doors. For Wrong password Buzzer will be ON.  All this information displaying on 16X2 LCD display.
